| This number was assigned to two former US 65 segments near Engledinger Marsh in northeastern Polk County that were bypassed after a new four-lane segment opened in November 2002. One dead-ends from US 65, and the other dead-ends from NE 118th Avenue in both directions. Both segments were transferred to local jurisdictions in 2003. |

Palo Alto County agreed to take over its share of IA 314 on December 3, 2002, and the city of Ayrshire agreed to follow suit on December 13.
